1. Wood cracking: wood is a natural material. Cracking is caused by various reasons such as different moisture content and wood ring, which is a normal phenomenon. As an anti-corrosion material, the purpose of preservative is to prevent corrosion, so that the wood can be placed in the harsh outdoor environment, which can resist termite erosion, the growth and decay of spore fungi, the boarding of aquatic organisms and the reproduction of other insects, and effectively prolong the use time of wood in the natural environment. The current anti-corrosion agents only have anti-corrosion properties and can not hinder the infiltration of water, so the wood will still crack.
2. Wood deformation: wood deformation is caused by internal stress, and wood cracking is caused by the change of surface area of wood surface. The fundamental reason for this change is that the moisture content of wood has changed. Because the wood is composed of multi-year rings, and the age of the rings on the two surfaces of the rotary cut plate is not equal, it can be vividly said that the older one reflects the moisture slowly, while the younger one reflects the moisture quickly. Therefore, under the same conditions, the surface area of the older side does not change as much as that of the younger side. Because the wood has no ductility, the side with reduced area can only increase the surface area through cracking to maintain balance. Therefore, we say that cracking and deformation are closely related to the moisture content of wood.
3. The cracking and deformation of anticorrosive wood used outdoors are caused by many factors. The reasons for this phenomenon are the place of placement, sunlight and the humidity of wood caused by natural phenomena such as rain. We cannot change these natural conditions, so there is no better maintenance method at present, but it can be controlled as much as possible during construction. The outermost surface of the finished anti-corrosion wood is the most reliable part of quality and performance, so the grinding and profile of the finished anti-corrosion wood should be reduced as much as possible.
