兩者的鑒別方式就是：1、防腐木表面黃綠色，炭化木表面棕色由于部分浸泡沒有達到100%，因此切割防腐木會發現截面顏色不一致，深層碳化木材截面顏色相同。2、防腐木藥水的氣味很重，浸泡在水里會發出臭味。炭化后的木材不含藥液處理，保留了木材原有木香。
