防腐木一般被用在家中的陽臺或者庭院、花園中。雖說是防腐木，但是基本的保養工作還是不能忘的。在防腐木施工和后期養護環節，如果注意采取正確的方法，將大大延長其使用壽命。

選擇不易生銹的五金件連接。五金件應用不銹鋼、熱鍍鋅或銅制的，主要避免日后生銹腐蝕，并影響連接牢度。連接安裝時請預先鉆孔，以避免防腐木開裂。
Select hardware connection that is not easy to rust. The hardware shall be made of stainless steel, hot-dip galvanized or copper to avoid rust and corrosion in the future and affect the connection fastness. Please drill holes in advance during connection and installation to avoid cracking of anti-corrosion wood.
安裝之后涂刷防護涂料。防腐木加工破損部分應涂刷防腐劑和戶外防護涂料。因防腐木本身是半成品，毛糙部分可在鋪完后等木材含水率降到20%以下，再砂光一遍，如想有更好的效果，表面清理干凈后亦可涂刷戶外防護涂料。

Since the anticorrosive wood itself is a semi-finished product, the rough part can be sanded again after the wood moisture content is reduced to less than 20%. 注意做好成品保護。防腐木表面用戶外防護涂料或油基類涂料涂刷完后，為了達到佳效果，48小時內避免人員走動或重物移動，以免破壞防腐木面層已形成的保護膜。如想取得更優異的防臟效果，必要時面層再做兩道專用戶外清漆處理。
Pay attention to the protection of finished products. After the anticorrosive wood surface is painted with outdoor protective coating or oil-based coating, in order to achieve good results, avoid personnel walking or heavy objects moving within 48 hours, so as not to damage the protective film formed on the anticorrosive wood surface. If you want to achieve better anti dirt effect, if necessary, the surface layer shall be treated with two layers of special outdoor varnish.
及時清潔定期打蠟。防腐木表面清潔可用一般洗滌劑來清洗，工具可用刷子;在后期使用中，需要定期，一般間隔一年到一年半的時間，用木蠟油對防腐木表面做好保護處理，來增強其表面的防水防污性能。
